A moment of beauty captured at the Haiti/Dominican Republic border last week. More photos to come. In the meantime, off to Tanzania…
Trailer for The Crab, a feature Bryan and Gregg worked on last year. Also, Isle of Cinema has an insightful interview with director Rona Mark.
Bravo Rona and The Crab team!
On June 4, our friends, Remedee, are teaming up with Rock the Vote to hold a screening and music showcase in honor of the final projects created by Remedee’s class of high school film students.
Remedee’s mission is to encourage young people to create change through media. If you’re in the Los Angeles area, please support this! You can buy tickets with a suggested donation here.
Upcoming documentary projects
In association with several noteworthy organizations, we have two exciting international documentary projects we are gearing up for:
Next week, we’re headed to the Haitian/Dominican Republic border to help the United Nations Development Programme document the situation there.
And in June, we will be working in Tanzania with Remedee, Touch Foundation and Millicom/Tigo to teach medical students basic filmmaking techniques using cell phone cameras, in an effort to document their lives.
Both undertakings will result in documentaries that think/feel will direct, shoot and edit!
Along with a great summary of Brooklyn’s ArpLine, the music video we did for the band was featured on The Urb.
The Village Voice’s Sound of the City blog featured our ArpLine video for “Fold Up Like a Piece of Paper.” There’s also a nice little interview in which Sam gives some insight into the making of the video. Check it out here!
Check out The Tripwire’s exclusive premiere of a video we did for Earl Greyhound.
